I currently work as a research engineer at OPEX Systems in Atlanta, Georgia. I primarily develop software to streamline manufacturing processes, in collaboration with leading research universities and government organizations.
I am seeking graduate research opportunities in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. I am interested in understanding how technology affects lived experience, and designing systems to foster collaboration on pressing issues such as sustainability. My experience applying reinforcement learning to control solar microgrids at Microsoft sparked my passion for human-centered AI as a tool to solve global challenges. I also received a two-year LSAMP fellowship at Georgia State University for agent-based modeling of firearm acquisition trends, and aim to continue applying an interdisciplinary approach to studying technology and social phenomena. Outside of tech I meditate, dance, and find ways to hit the gym consistently on a busy schedule.
